Summer Manes is performing at the infamous dive, Li-Po in San Francisco's Chinatown district on Saturday night, April 10th, 2010. Summer Manes kick starts the show promptly at 9pm, opening with Winter Hawk. Don't miss it. Also performing: Ovipositor and Cartographer. Heavy, heavy sounds will ensue.

Here's what people have to say about the historic Li-Po.
"A dim, divey, and slightly spooky Chinese bar that was once an opium den, Li Po's alluring character stems from its mishmash clutter of dusty Asian furnishings and mementos, including an unbelievably huge ancient rice-paper lantern hanging from the ceiling and a glittery golden shrine to Buddha behind the bar. The bartenders, who pour a mean Li Po Special Mai Tai, love to creep out patrons with tales of opium junkies haunting the joint."
"this is the best bar ever. you will get a lot of value for your money. my friend and i were attracted to the bar by the fact that it looked like a cave from the outside. if you love dive bars and happen t be in the vicinity of chinaown, definitely check this out. the bartenders are very gracious and they have a lovely tabletop pacman arcade game. the drinks are great!!!!"
"This is a classic dive bar. It has all the ambience, or lack there of, of one including regulars who have been coming to there for many years, and perhaps have never left. Great kitsch on the walls and chinatown location make it a must."
